Thank you for your Appointment Request with Hoffman Auto and Moon Performance! Your Appointment has been scheduled we look forward to servicing your vehicle.

We have made some major changes at our facility due to staffing issues in our area. There are many services we no longer offer and some of our services have been altered to deal with these changes. Please read the below changes to be sure they fit with what you are looking for in a repair/performance facility before we continue to fit you into our schedule.

1. NO WAITING – Customers can no longer “wait” for their vehicles. The vehicle needs to be left by 8:30am (which includes leaving the night before your appointment) and will be done by 5:00pm. Please do not reach out to us and inquire the status of your vehicle, once the vehicle is completed or we have an update, we will reach out to you.
2. DROP OFF – When you drop your vehicle off, please drop your keys in an envelope located in the green drop-box to the left of our front door. Please fill out the envelope with your name, vehicle information, best contact number while the vehicle is here and the services you are requesting while at our facility. Please DO NOT walk behind our fence looking for assistance, our technicians are working hard and cannot assist you.
3. TECH SUPPORT – Email info@hoffmanautolp.com or text 518-291-4368 for assistance and someone will respond as soon as possible.
4. MPI -We are not a “quick lube” facility. Any time a vehicle comes in for a “service,” we will perform at Multi-point Inspection (MPI) AT THE CUSTOMERS CHARGE. This includes oil changes, tire changes, diagnosis, alignments, etc. We will NOT perform this service with NYS Inspections unless the customer requests the MPI as the State does not allow additional charges coupled with NYS Inspections without customer’s consent. MPI costs are billed per-hour, but on average a car would cost $65.00, and a large truck would be $90.00. For example:

1. You would like an oil change on your 2019 Honda Civic: $65.00 for the MPI, $30.00 for the “oil change” service, total cost would be $95.00 plus oil/filter/fluids (approx. $125-135). The results of the MPI would be listed for the customer on the invoice and explained to the customer via phone.
2. You would like a NYS Inspection for your 2019 Honda Civic: Price would be $21.00 as limited by NYS State and no MPI would be performed/charge to customer unless requested.

4.  DIAGNOSIS (“CHECK ENGINE” light, brake noise, vibrations, suspension noise, etc) is billed at $125.00/hour and actual hours. For example:

1. You have a noise in your brakes you want diagnosed: Takes technician 0.60hr to diagnose it, total cost would be $75.00 plus tax for DIAGNOSIS OF THE ISSUE ONLY. Any addition repairs will be quoted, approved by customer, and performed later.
2. You have a “CHECK ENGINE” light illuminated: Takes the technician 2.10hr to diagnose, total cost would be $262.50 plus tax for DIAGNOSIS OF THE ISSUE ONLY. Any addition repairs will be quoted, approved by customer, and performed later.
3. PAYMENT – Payment/pickup is contactless: Once your vehicle is complete, a representative will call, text or email to explain the services we completed. Invoices can be sent for payment via text or email. Once payment is received, we will also agree on a place to leave your vehicles keys for pickup.
